The ongoing adulteration (or spiking) of Illuminating paraffin (IP) in D50 diesel has reached alarming proportions in the local South African fuel market. Some suppliers openly offer their “blend” to the market, while other more discreet ones still supply their unwitting customers with their “blend” sold a pure D50 diesel.
